Judy Emerson

Judy EmersonThe goal of my massage, rooted in my Qi Gong practice, is to remove obstacles to movement, encouraging free range of motion in muscles and joints, unimpeded flow of body fluids, and unimpaired nerve transmission. Hands sensitive and strong, truly present and intelligent are the foundation. I adapt my technique to your need. I use my own proprietary blend of massage oils to enhance results.

I bring my medical career background with regard to the conventions of best practices, hygiene, and HIPPA. I bring my life’s experiences as a former runner and current Qi Gong practitioner, as a person who had a high tech job and sat hunched over a computer, as an aging human being with the usual stresses of life. I bring my all to massage.

Please contact Judy today at 802.655.9025 or judy@emersonvtmassage.com to schedule your massage!

James J. Guertin

Deep Relaxation is one of the keys to true happiness and peace of mind and body. The human body and mind both work more optimally when they are relaxed, stretched and freed of stress. In James’ experience, wanting to be able to relax, and having the ability to relax, can be two different things entirely. He believes that by regularly utilizing the gifts of practitioners to assist us in finding deep relaxation, healing and wellbeing, and by learning and practicing forms of meditation and yoga, that the mind and body are cleared or stress, feel better, and reset in the directions of harmony and health.

Rod Cain

Rod is a 1992 graduate of the Florida School of Massage, Gainesville. He customizes each deep tissue session to address individual issues—chronic muscle strain and fatigue from overuse, soft tissue trauma from injury or misalignment, musculoskeletal conditioning for sport training or general health maintenance and stress reduction. Rod’s work is a combination of many massage modalities which work below the superficial layers and within one’s comfort level. The results can be surprising or even profound—increasing one’s range of motion at the joints, decreasing pain, expanding sports performance/recovery, or simply feeling a deep sense of well-being.
